As a former student, I can say that honestly small organizers were simply put one of the most affordable and life changing things I bought in my Uni years. These may be folders, Ikea storage bins or even something as small as pencil holders. This will stop your small space from overflowing with papers you’re never going to use again and pencils that no longer work and ultimately making you a more productive and hopefully successful student in the long run.

The next step that helped us during our Uni days was to label all of our belongings that were kept in shared areas like the kitchen or living room. Nobody wants to admit it, but we have all used a flatmate’s plate or cup and maybe left it in our room for months on end, but to save you the hassle of having to go out and buy your favourite kitchen appliances again you can easily buy labels and put your name on all of them. This is a sure way to prevent anything from going missing and for some reason, they do you can tell everyone that it has your name on it!
